The Southmount Arts Centre is located in the Southmount region of Alee Isle, next to the Bill Gates Hospital. It is a performing arts theatre that offers one theatre space which seats approximately 170 persons. It is due to host a production of “IDK837384 in Ballet” at the end of Summer 2023, which will run at this location through the Autumn.
The main theatre boasts a classic appearance, being developed out of wood and terracotta. It offers two fully-functioning lighting bars, and 5 house dimmer channels which allow control over side lighting and house roof lighting in the main audiotorium. There is also a balcony which hosts around 25 patrons.
The backstage area offers three dressing rooms, hosting up to 15 cast members across all three spaces. In addition to this, a company management office is also available for company staff that are not members of the cast. The venue also offers various storage areas for both touring companies and in-house productions.
